The Current Affairs discussion group meets once a month on Zoom (on Thursday afternoon - tbc),  to discuss topics that have been in the news or are of interest to everyone. Social and political subjects such as ‘Democracy’, ‘Education’ and ‘Recycling’, as well as more light-hearted topics (‘Happiness’, 'Christmas', ‘Keeping fit’), have all generated lively discussions in the past year.
